Business & Partnerships Assistant - Brokerslink
Brokerslink, a global broking company within the MDS Group, is seeking a Business & Partnerships Assistant in Lisbon to support the team in driving initiatives across its worldwide network.
This is a dynamic and hands-on role, providing coordination, communication, and operational support across a broad international ecosystem of Partners & Affiliates. Designed as a development role, it offers increasing autonomy and responsibility as you grow within the organisation.
Key Responsabilities
1. Internal Coordination & Communication
- Support the Business & Partnerships Director, Business Development Manager and Global Partnerships Manager in daily operations, task coordination, monitoring and internal communication.
- Prepare files and reports (Word, XL, Dynamics), create presentations (Power Point), minutes and meeting materials.
2. Partner & Affiliate Communication
- Facilitate consistent communication with Brokerslink Partners, Affiliates, Client companies and Corporate prospects.
- Maintain contact databases (Dynamics, internal platform Agora), assist with correspondence and chasing answers.
3. Business Development Support (across Property & Casualty, Employee Benefits, Trade Credit)
- Support the identification, qualification, and tracking of market opportunities, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Assist on the development and coordination of new initiatives aiming at supporting cross-country opportunities.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify profiles of potential clients and industry segments (sales database).
- Maintain and continuously update the business development database with accurate contact information, company insights, and opportunity status (Dynamics)
- Coordinate and follow up with the network to ensure timely execution of training and sales actions.
- Assist the team members with prospective client organizations (upon request) to introduce the company’s services and facilitate initial business meetings.
- Assist the team members in the implementation of business development initiatives, and the onboarding of new affiliates.
- Support the preparation and standardization of business development materials, including RFP templates, benchmark presentations, client proposals, and sales training documentation.
- Ensure all materials are regularly updated to reflect new products, services, and market insights.
4. Partnerships (Educational, Distribution, Marketing)
- Coordinate Brokerslink’s educational collaborations with RIMS and FERMA, assisting with scheduling, deliverables, and communication.
- Assist the team with the implementation of the action plans aimed at distribution, marketing, training and business development with insurers, sponsors and other partnere, to ensure timely delivery of agreed activities.
5. Events & Operations
- Work with the Marketing and Operations team to assist with planning and coordination of Brokerslink events, webinars, trainings.
6. Administrative Support
- Assist team and the finance manager with tracking payments of invoices.
- Contribute to improving internal workflows and information management.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Communications, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in coordination, partnerships, or project support roles — ideally in an international or network-based environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages such as French or Spanish are a plus.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proactive mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset, able to work across teams, cultures, and time zones.
- Curious, service-minded, and detail-oriented, with a problem-solving approach.
- Enjoys connecting people and teams, bringing structure to complex projects, and taking initiative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, Dynamics).
