Controlling Analyst

MDS Group is recruiting for a Financial Controlling Analyst to join the Finance Department at our Porto office.
This role sits within the Finance Team and focuses on preparing and responding to a variety of reporting requests from management and Group headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Upload and analyse monthly actuals, and report performance to management;
- Ensure alignment of accounting policies across all geographies and map local ledgers to Group ledgers;
- Maintain internal control over financial reporting (ICFR);
- Support analysis and drive efficiency throughout processes;
About You
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field;
- At least 5 years of experience (Big 4 background is a plus);
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, with experience in ERP SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365;
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Portuguese (mandatory);
- Strong problem-solving skills and solid analytical profile;
- Sound understanding of accounting principles, with the ability to analyse P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
